Just in time for winter, real estate brokers throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington are gearing up for Windermere Real Estate’s annual Share the Warmth campaign. Now through December 18, Windermere brokers in Newport will be collecting warm clothing and other items to benefit the HELP Homeless Program. The nonprofit is specifically asking for coats, blankets, gloves, and hats in all sizes.
Those who want to help can stop by participating locations to drop off donations. The official Share the Warmth drop off locations in Newport are:
- Windermere Real Estate: 914 S Coast Hwy; drop off hours are Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m
- JC Market Thriftway: 107 N Pacific Hwy; drop off hours are anytime — open 24 hours.
- Newport Public Library: 35 NW Nye St; drop off hours are during normal business hours
