Bill Klinkner was born September 8, 1945 to Bill and Mary Klinkner. He graduated high school in Grants Pass, Oregon and in pursuit of his love of the outdoors, took a career with the US Forest Service, where he served until the year 2000, when he retired.
Bill loved hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors. He befriended many in the course of his life and was known as someone who went out of his way to help and serve others.
He is survived by his wife, Velva Klinkner; stepson, Travis Willmore; son, Shawn Klinkner; son Jason Klinkner; his four grandchildren: Dara, Teagan, TJ and Josiah Klinkner; and his four siblings: Elaine Funk, Ann Welsch, Vickie Beed-Burns, and Ed Klinkner.
A celebration of life service for Bill will be held at 2pm, Saturday, August 5th, at Waldport Foursquare Church, 480 N. Bay Street, Waldport, Oregon.
