With the successful completion of the Seal Rock Water District’s Smart Meter installation, where the district’s water meters are communicating via wireless radio frequencies, water customers now have access to the My Water Usage Customer Portal.
Using the Customer Portal, Seal Rock customers can view their usage, set up alerts and be smart with their water consumption. Water district officials said they want their customers to take a proactive part in finding and fixing leaks, and “with the Customer Portal, you are in the driver’s seat where you can monitor your water usage.”
Many customers have already signed up for the portal and can monitor their water usage. Others wanting to do so can go online at bit.ly/mywaterusage or to the Seal Rock Water District website — www.srwd.org — and click on “My Water Usage Customer Portal” to sign up. Anyone needing help signing up or who has questions is encouraged to call the water district office at 541-563-3529 or stop by the office at 1037 NW Grebe St., Seal Rock.
