The Lincoln County Small Woodlands Association will host its annual native tree seedling sale on Saturday, Feb. 27, at a new location — Table Mountain Forestry, 247 NE Highway 20, Toledo (the red building on the corner of NW A Street and Highway 20).
This year, the sale format will be a little different to follow COVID health guidelines, but preorders are not required. Masks are required at the event, and customers are being asked to practice physical distancing.
The sale begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m., or until the supply runs out.
At this sale, a number of native tree seedlings and some native shrub species will be available. The annual event is designed to provide the public with affordable native tree seedlings, promote natural resource conservation awareness and increase forest owners’ knowledge and abilities as stewards of their land.
Most seedlings will be $2. For more information, contact Joe Steere at [email protected]
