Thanks to Toledo High School leadership students

Early in December, we held the 39th annual Holiday House Art & Craft Sale at the Yaquina Bay Yacht Club. It was another fantastic year of crafting, sales and getting to see our regular customers, and it could not have been possible without the help of some Toledo High School leadership students.

On a Wednesday morning, Tana'ya Barnhart, Kaycie Otis, Rylee Richards, Autum Tyler, Kaiya Loper and Cody Nicholson made time in their schedule to help us unload our trailers and set up the heavy and cumbersome tables and dividers. Sunday afternoon, Clayton and Tana'ya Barnhart and Cody and Kyle Nickerson also returned to help with our takedown and loading of our trailers.

These are some outstanding students, and it is so rewarding to work with young people who are respectful, responsible and conscientious. Donations were made to the Toledo High School Leadership Program in the name of these students, but we wanted to provide an additional thank you to these students for their help during our sale.

Thank you also to the parents who helped transport them. We look forward to working with this program again next year at our 40th celebration.
