Student artwork on display

The Yaquina Art Association Gallery in Newport is featuring an exhibit of artwork created by local students.

All art included in the exhibit is from students who attend Sam Case Elementary in Newport, Newport Middle School, and Crestview Elementary in Waldport. The show will remain in display through March 28.

Every March, the Yaquina Art Association has a special display of local student artwork because it believes creativity from young minds is something to be celebrated. YAA has a long tradition of donating art supplies to local schools.

‘The Yaquina Art Association Gallery is located at 789 NW Beach Drive, in Newport’s historic Nye Beach District. Hours of operation are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
