With all the high tech ways to say "I (we) love/appreciate/thank/admire you," what better way to stand out than an old fashioned, live singing valentine with songs of love and a rose delivered almost anywhere in Lincoln County — schools, work, restaurants, boats and more.
The local men's chorus (a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Foundation) is offering singing valentines on Thursday, Feb. 14, as this winter’s fundraiser. The chorus is currently comprised of 15 members from all areas of the county and are always welcoming new members who enjoy singing — no previous musical experience is needed.
The chorus meets every Thursday at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 227 NE 12th St., Newport.
Anyone who would like to know more about the chorus or about arranging a singing valentine (great for groups, staff and students, too), can call or text Richard at 541-961-3566 or email [email protected]
