Police seeking leads on whereabouts of Lynette Kay Propst

LINCOLN CITY — Police are searching for a missing 60-year-old Lincoln City woman last heard from on Sunday, Feb. 19.

The vehicle of Lynette Kay Propst, a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder, was discovered parked unoccupied by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at Rocky Creek State Park.

A note in the window of the vehicle indicated the car had broken down and she would return for it soon, according to a report from the Oregon State Police.

A search of the area conducted by the sheriff’s office, Depoe Bay Fire and Rescue and the United State Coast Guard proved fruitless.

The search is ongoing. Anyone with information about Propst’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the police dispatch center at 503-375-3555. She’s described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 113 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
