The Yaquina River Museum of Art cut the ribbon of celebration on Sunday, May 27, for ownership of the 1887 School House building used as a small art exhibit space, office and permanent collection storage.
The School House Exhibit building, previously under the ownership of Judy and Michael Gibbons, is now in the hands of the nonprofit organization of the Yaquina River Museum of Art. The building will continue to serve as the nonprofit’s main art exhibition space office, and collection storage.
