Safely towed back to port

The fishing vessel Pegasus became disabled about 60 miles south of the mouth of the Umpqua River Tuesday evening. The F/V Miss Berdie arrived on the scene and began towing the Pegasus though the night. Early Wednesday morning, personnel from U.S. Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay took over. The 52-foot motor lifeboat Victory and a 47-foot motor lifeboat are pictured here towing the Pegasus safely into Yaquina Bay.
