Incidents at Crestview Heights leads to review of policies

LINCOLN COUNTY — Parents of Crestview Heights Elementary students told the Lincoln County School District’s Board of Directors that they were frustrated with bullying at the school, asking for discipline. “We were aware of the situation at Crestview well before the parents came to the board meeting, and we’re working on it. It’s actually work that started back in October, around a particular incident, and we found some ‘ah-hahs’ for the district,” said Susan Van Liew, director of student services, in a June 11 interview.
