A reception at the Pacific Artist Alliance Co-Op Gallery in Lincoln City (coinciding with a reception at the Beachstone Gallery at ASA) will be held on April 12, from 5 p.m. 7 p.m.

There will be art, food, wine and music by Mark Olson to celebrate the galleries’ new artists and the work of Joyce Michelina Centofanti, who is the featured artist for the month of April.

Centofanti is the current president of the Pacific Artist Alliance and is also a substitute teacher for the Lincoln County School District. She combines traditional art forms with a creative and experimental attitude to create humorous and thought-provoking sculptures. Viewers are drawn into the scenes as laughing and/or contemplative participants in the often-lighthearted environments. Evoking a smile and laughter, or passionate inquiry from others through the artwork is Centofanti’s goal.

The Pacific Artist Alliance Co-Op Gallery is located at 620 NE Highway 101 in Lincoln City. More information is available by calling 541-557-8000.
