Nancy Ann Crocker


September 15, 1948 – July 5, 2017

Nancy Ann Crocker died on July 5th, 2017 after a short battle with cancer surrounded by her family at her home in Toledo, Oregon.
She was born on September 15th, 1948 to Donald and Barbara Billick in Cottage Grove, Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Linn Billick of Elkton, Oregon, nephew Kevin Wayne Billick of Tigard, Oregon and brother-in-law Thomas Charles Crocker of Springfield, Oregon.
She leaves behind her husband John Franklin ‘Frank’ Crocker of Toledo, Oregon. They were married on July 26th, 1969 in McKenzie Bridge, Oregon; children: Katrina and Toby Landis and Donald and Alivia Crocker all of Toledo, Oregon; grandchildren: Annabell, Phillip, Scott and Oliver Landis of Toledo, Oregon, Sadye and Cierra Benjamin and great-granddaughter Erin Resendez of McMinnville, Oregon; parents: Donald and Barbara Billick of Cottage Grove; brothers: Gary and Pamela Billick and Edward ‘Jim’ and Karama Billick all of Springfield, Oregon; brother-in-law Raymond and Virginia Crocker of Silver Lake, Oregon; sister-in-laws Lena Hooven of Oregon and Darlene Crocker of Springfield, Oregon.
Nancy worked at the JCPenney store in Newport, Oregon for 15 years. She was part of the knitting group at the 60+ Activity Center in Newport for 5 years where she made numerous friends. She was also part of the church family at Encounter Community Church in Newport, Oregon. Nancy always had a positive attitude and outlook on life.
Nancy loved camping and traveling with her family. She had been to Death Valley numerous times, the Queen Charlotte Islands in Canada, the Humboldt Redwoods, Las Vegas and family property in Elkton, Oregon was like a 2nd home during the summers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Encounter Community Church in Newport, Oregon on September 30th, 2017 at Noon followed by a potluck luncheon. Condolence cards may be sent to the Crocker Family in care of Encounter Community Church, 256 S.E. Olive St. #C, Newport, Oregon 97365. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Encounter Community Church’s Blessing Bag Ministry.
