“Love Lives Forever: Exploring the Possibilities of Messages From Beyond the Veil” is an upcoming class at Oregon Coast Community College (OCCC). The course will be six weeks long, running from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays starting on Feb. 12, and ending on March 18, at South County Center in Waldport.
This class is spiritually based, however, not religious.
“We will be discussing the concept that connecting with deceased loved ones is possible and that Love Never Dies,” said instructor Violet Young. “My class is appropriate for anyone who is interested in exploring the possibilities of making connections beyond the veil or who feels that they may have been contacted by a loved one but isn’t sure.”
A metaphysical educator, Young has been studying and teaching about Spirit for over 35 years. Widowed in 2015, Young found herself comforted by the messages she received from her husband. She increasingly found herself being engaged with others in conversations about death, dying and connecting with deceased loved ones. The reception was always positive when discussing these experiences with folks thanking her for being able and willing to address the topic in an accepting and low key manner. As people related their own stories to her she was asked to create a space to explore these experiences with more depth and was invited to teach classes about the topic at OCCC.
Since the class time is close to dinner, students are encouraged to bring a sandwich or snack to class. The cost is $45 and there is still time to register by either going online to oregoncoastcc.org or calling 541-996-6222. For more information concerning the content of the class, call Young at 541-547-4664.
