LINCOLN CITY — Currently, the Lincoln City Cheer Team is thriving under manager and coach Tonia Anderson, but with success, comes a period of growth.

And for the team itself, it was only a matter of time before other members of the community would want to join in on the fun. But for coach Tonia Anderson, it would be a dream come true to expand her teams.

“We have had so many people ask how my child can get involved in your program next season.  We need more space,” Anderson said.

The team could use some improvements, as well — ceilings need to be higher for stunting, a parent waiting area and also have a spot for the kids to be able to come after school and to use as a homework area.

“Our program is expanding, and we will be offering a third team next season,” Anderson said. “We could really use the community's help in finding a location that would be willing to work with us as a nonprofit.”
