Gleneden Beach 4th of July Parade celebrates 26 years of patriotism, fun

The 26th annual Gleneden Beach Independence Day Parade will be celebrated this year on Saturday, July 4 at 1 p.m.

The Gleneden Beach community comes together each year to create a memorable Fourth of July experience for everyone involved.

Attendees can start the day off with breakfast at the Gleneden Beach Community Club from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Those interested in participating in the parade can fill out a registration form online at  www.glenedenbeachparade.com/parade-registration.

Vendor booths are available and will be located in the parking lot adjacent to Gleneden Station and in various locations along the parade route. Vendors are welcome to sell crafts, food and specialty items. The vendor fair runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Find out more information at www.glenedenbeachparade.com/vendor-registration.

The organizing committee is grateful to all those who continue to help make this parade an incredible experience year after year, and they invite everyone back to celebrate one of the best years yet.

To get involved as a volunteer, come to the committee’s meetings, which are held the first Thursday of the month at noon at the Side Door until the 4th of July. Those who can’t attend the meetings but want to volunteer can sign up online or at the Side Door Café.
