“Looks Like We’re Cousins: Tips for Genetic Genealogy Collaboration” is the topic of a live webinar that will take place this Saturday, Feb. 2, as part of the regular monthly meeting of the Lincoln County Genealogical Society.
The presenter will be Paul Woodbury, and the webinar is sponsored by the Southern California Genealogical Society. “Collaboration is a key principle of genetic genealogy analysis,” says Woodbury.
“In this session, explore tips and tricks for successful collaboration with your genetic cousins. Identify useful information you can request from them. Put your sills to work as you draft and revise your own communication and tap into the full power of DNA test results by improving your correspondence with your genetic cousins.”
This live webinar will be hosted by Lincoln County Genealogical Society, and the group meets from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Toledo Public Library, 173 NW Seventh St., in the downstairs meeting room — entrance off the side parking lot. Everyone is welcome to attend.
