Anti-war protests? That’s a laugh. Why now? Or is this just more of the same years-old, flaming hatred of President Trump?
I saw no anti-war demonstrations as this now deceased kingpin/international terrorist was wreaking havoc and murdering uncountable numbers of our military personnel with impunity. There was only inept silence. The anti-war front? They did what? Smoke another joint and raise the peace symbol? That is until someone with enough courage and clear-minded vision made the heroic decision to literally pulverize him and wipe this monster from the face of this earth. Iran’s Major General Qasem Soleimani, Allah willing, was dedicated to the commands of Allah and his prophet Muhammad. Those dictates do not blend into a peaceful world too well. Soleimani was focused on the mountaintop.
For all our people he killed, this came a day late and one missile short. To our military, great shot. Perfect timing. Thank you.
I would have thought that after Saddam Hussein, a Sunni Muslim, was eliminated, the Shiite Muslims of Iraq and Iran would have breathed a huge sigh of relief and been thankful to us for eliminating that Sunni Muslim monster. And Hussein was a monster in the first degree to be sure — think of your body joints being drilled through with an electric drill or your genitals burned off with a blowtorch. If you were Shiite and crossed him, no water-boarding for Hussein. That would have been too kind. Instead, we seem only to have unleashed a more savage breed of monsters, intent on ruling all who are not true believers — Shiite or, in the opposite case, Sunni. Those are the choices for non-believers. It is written into the Quran, enforced through Sharia Law and documented in their Hadith, that all will submit to Islam.
Hadith, a kind of a biography of the methodology of how to convert non-believers to Islam, developed during Muhammad’s lifetime — in plain language, jihad. The full spectrum of this mindset was simply and clearly put into words by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a Shiite Muslim and former president of Iran, and I quote, “The message of the (Islamic) revolution is global, and is not restricted to a specific place or time. Have no doubt — Allah willing — Islam will conquer what? It will conquer all the mountaintops of the world.” Soleimani was only one of the hubs in the wheels of a chariot rolling up to conquer all of the mountaintops.
Freedom has never been free, ever. We recently saw what happened to the demonstrators in Iran; 1,500 of their own people were murdered in Tehran to preserve the revolution. We are watching the courageous people of Hong Kong, valiantly fighting for their freedom, as China just sent in a Communist muscleman known for getting “the people” under control. The world is a dangerous place to live in freedom. It takes courage and vigilance, and both are essential for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
