Former Chinook Winds Casino Resort marketing director and area resident Don Kennedy is releasing a book titled “Kids Say The Darndest Things To Santa Claus.”

The book became available in printed and eBook versions on Sept. 5.

Kennedy lived and worked in Lincoln City from 2002 to 2004, and again from 2007 to 2008. He has volunteered as Santa Claus for organizations for 25 years, which included his years on the coast.

Kennedy will at the Lincoln City Farmer's Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8. The market takes place outside the Lincoln City Cultural Center at 540 NE Highway 101. He will be signing copies of his book, and there will also be a signed author’s photo available (which he says is great for dart boards). Proceeds will go to Angels Anonymous.
