First Interstate Bank donates to local fire relief efforts

First Interstate Bank recently donated $7,500 to various nonprofit organizations in the region to assist with fire-relief efforts.

The Salvation Army of Lincoln County received $5,000 to go toward its Food Panty of Hope: Mobile Site, which ensures those who have been impacted by the Echo Mountain Fire have access to food and hygiene items without needing to travel to the Newport location.

United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley received $2,500 to go toward its Mid-Valley Wildfire Relief, which provides immediate and long-term support to those impacted by the Beachie Creek Fire.

“We are dedicated to helping others,” Gary Collins, Willamette Valley/coastal market president of First Interstate Bank said. “We understand the importance of supporting our community, especially during times of need, and encourage others to thoughtfully consider supporting this effort.”
