Surround yourself with the spirit of Christmas at the 21st annual Festival of Trees and Angel’s Ball at Chinook Winds Casino Resort on Dec. 4-7. It’s the perfect way to swing into December.
Festivities kick off with the free viewing of the Festival of Trees beginning Wednesday, Dec. 4, from noon to 5 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, Dec. 5 and 6, from noon to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring the whole family to view this wonderland of the Christmas season featuring exceptional trees decorated beyond imagination.
This year’s Angel’s Ball, Dec. 7, will include raffles, a fabulous plated dinner, live music from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s performed by Collective Nation and, of course, the auction of the many exquisitely decorated Christmas trees. Enjoy the complete holiday gala from 4 to10:30 p.m. This annual fundraising event is the highlight of the Christmas season in Lincoln City, and an event to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas dressed in your holiday finery amid a wonderland of artfully decorated Christmas trees.
The Angels Ball is the largest annual fundraiser for Angels Anonymous, a 501(c)(3) that assists people in North Lincoln county meet immediate and basic needs. It provides the opportunity to aide in making available much-needed assistance to those less fortunate by participating in live auction and silent auctions of Christmas trees, wreaths and raffles of many fine items. Long-time sponsors, Chinook Winds Casino Resort, Mills Ace Hardware, Pacific Power and NW Natural top the list of those who assist Angels Anonymous in making the event the success that it is.
Tickets are on sale now at the Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce located at 4039 NW Logan Road — or call 541-994-3070. At the Chamber they can be purchased with cash and check. On Nov. 1, they will also be available for purchase electronically at the chamber. Tickets can also be purchased online at: angelsanonymousinc.com or Angels Anonymous at 503-489-8743 on Nov. 1. Sale of tickets will close Nov. 29, so don’t delay.
Included in the $85 ticket price are passed hors d’ oeuvres, a plated dinner with choice of entrée upon ticket purchase, live entertainment, dancing, raffles and the auction of the Christmas trees.
Since 1999 Angels Anonymous has dispersed over $1 million providing immediate and basic needs to families in north Lincoln County.
