Deborah Gayle (Mann) Sondenaa, age 62, passed away peacefully at her home in Siletz on Monday, November 6, 2017. She was born in Newport, Oregon on October 28, 1955 to Don and Verna Mann of Toledo.
Debbie graduated from Eddyville High School in 1974. She graduated from Salem Beauty Academy in 1976 and started working in Toledo with her best friend Rose. They worked together for approximately 10 years before she moved to Seattle, WA. While in Seattle, she married Pete Glaude and worked for many years as a hair dresser before divorcing and moving to Siletz to help with her parents. She then met and married the love of her life, Larry Sondenaa whom she married September 25, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Michael Vernon Mann and Timothy Glenn Mann.
She is survived by husband, Larry Sondenaa, Siletz, two sisters, Kathy Johnson of Lincoln City, Donna Johnson of Logsden, sister-in-law, Patty Mann of Siletz, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a stepdaughter, Heather (Daniel) Quenton, two step grandsons, Ervin and Nestucca of LaFayette, OR and brother-in-law Ray (Lynn) Sondenaa of Hawaii.
Debbie was a member of the Sacred Ground Baptist Church in Siletz. She belonged to Toledo Elks and Lady Elks BPOE #1664. She loved her dogs, liked to dress up and visit with people. A service will be held on December 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at the Sacred Ground Baptist Church in Siletz. Refreshments and visiting to follow.
