On Jan. 25 a dream came true for Sarah Bradshaw and Cassie Mendoza: CRAVE Beauty Car opened in Lincoln City.

The dynamic duo have been friends since they met in beauty school. Now they lead a team of six total estheticians who offer microblading, eyelash extensions, teeth whitening, airbrush tanning, color services and hair extensions, as well as full makeup for special occasions such as weddings or proms.

And this crew is no stranger to the business; Mendoza and Bradshaw have 13 years of experience between them, and the resident microblading technician has 15 years of experience all on her own.

Though it didn’t happen right away, Mendoza and Bradshaw said they knew early on that they wanted to work together.

“We kind of went our separate ways starting out,” said Cassie. “Then we came together at one salon, and then we just knew we wanted to expand.”

“We have a lot of the same visions of what we wanted in a salon, so we figured we would work as a team,” said Sarah. “And then we didn’t kill each other the two years we worked together.”

“Seemed like a nice little test,” Cassie added with a laugh.

What adds more to the experience is the level of care the owners have gone to in selecting the products they use and sell at CRAVE. They have their own line of eyelash wash and makeup. The makeup is manufactured in the United Kingdom then flies around the world to be sold at the salon. As for hair products, they use Sudzz shampoo and conditioner.

The salon space, which features authentic barn wood mixed with mirrors and soft lighting, was remodeled by Bradshaw’s husband who runs Bradshaw Designs. In addition to the beautiful space, customers are greated with soothing music and a choice of complimentary tea, coffee, snacks, mimosas or wine.

All of this is designed to help the estheticians carry out the mission that Bradshaw and Mendoza envisioned together.

“I want people to be the best versions of themselves … I think when you feel good about yourself, you go out and do great things,” said Bradshaw. “If you feel bad about yourself, it’s the opposite. So we just want people to feel beautiful.”
