The Oregon Health Authority reported Wednesday that a 76-year-old man in Lincoln County who tested positive for COVID-19 on Jan. 28 died on Feb. 15 at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport. 

He had underlying conditions, according to the health authority, which listed the man as the state’s 2,140th COVID-related death, and the 19th death in Lincoln County. 

As of Thursday, 2,149 deaths of people with COVID-19 have been reported in Oregon.
