This has become a new go to for breakfasts. In the fall of 2018, we moved to the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Our oldest son and middle daughter were attending BYU Hawaii in Laie.
It worked out perfectly. We spent many mornings driving down to Banzai Bowl in Sunset Beach — they make the best acai bowls! (They are also along the southern California coast). Since then, we have discovered the secrets to making the most amazing acai or pitaya (dragon fruit) bowls.
We now make these bowls for breakfast at our home, reminiscent of being on the islands of Hawaii. Bring the aloha spirit into your own home with these beautiful and fresh smoothie bowls. Simple and delicious, a definite crowd pleaser.
