Cars at the Coast returns July 20 in Newport

The Bay City Cruisers 35th annual car show, Cars at the Coast, returns to the parking lot at the Newport Performing Arts Center on Saturday, July 20. The public is invited to stop by for a free, close-up look at a wide variety of classic cars from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Newport Performing Arts Center is located at 777 W Olive St.

For those wanting to enter cars in the show, registration is from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The show is open to cars, trucks and motorcycles. The registration fee is $20, with a variety of categories for trophies, which will be awarded at the end of the show. There will also be dash plaques.

Also during Cars at the Coast, there will be raffles, a silent auction, music and food available for purchase.

Proceeds from the event go to the Operation Snack Pack Program and Newport Fishermen’s Wives.
