The February meeting of the Canterbury Forum will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Waldport Community Center, 265 NW Hemlock St. (Highway 34).
The title of the presentation is “Forging Community at the End of the World: Climate Change and Creation Care.”
The program will be presented by Aric Clark, writer, speaker and Presbyterian minister. He will address the urgency of climate change, eco-justice care and people’s responsibility in the midst of this crisis. He is the co-moderator of the Peace Fellowship and lives in Portland.
The Canterbury Forum is a gathering of mainstream and progressive religious communities on the central coast to hear lectures and engage in conversation about religious issues relevant to the relationship between religion and the broader society and culture, including science, history and the arts.
