Oregon RAIN offers free seminars

Are you ready to elevate your craft? Join Oregon RAIN for the Next Level business speaker series. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and learn from industry experts on marketing, sales, financials and more.

Next Level speaker events will occur on Wednesday nights, Sept. 5 through Oct. 3, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bosque Cafe and Espresso Bar (4590, SE Harborton St., South Beach), near the campus of Oregon Coast Community College. The events are free to attend. Guests can learn more and register at

The Next Level series is part of the RAIN Coastal Pre Accelerator program, and the events will kick off their weekly cohort meetings.

  • Sept. 12 — Business Landscapes: Competition, ecosystems & resources, with Thomas Blasé, founder, Blueprint, Inc.; and Spencer Holton, founder, Trail Supply Co.; and Eric Boothe, director of Strategy for Digital Businesses, JLL;
  • Sept. 19 — Traction I: Value propositions, messaging & branding, with Caine O’Brien, consultant, Crooker Consulting; and Corey Wright, venture catalyst, Oregon RAIN;
  • Sept. 26 — Traction II: Marketing, sales & financial forecasting, with Brad Attig, funding catalyst, Oregon RAIN; and Caroline Cummings, executive director, Oregon RAIN;
