LINCOLN COUNTY — Primarily on a teaching tour, the Gaden Sharste Monastery monks are in the U.S. presenting Buddha from the Tibetan perspective by giving lectures and performing rituals. They will be in Lincoln County from March 6 until March 11.
“Monks are very special, they’re superior beings, they don’t have any negative actions,” said Lobsang Wangchuk, who’s serving as a media contact for the monks. He said monks subdue their negative minds and are bound by their principles.
