“A Colorful Confluence” is the name of a new exhibit opening on Friday, Nov. 10, at the Chessman Gallery in Lincoln City.
Virginia Leonnig and Carol Pulvermacher have designed this show as a collaborative, two-year effort that expresses their love and interest in Pacific Northwest wildlife. Both of their styles, choice of materials and media are very different, but for this show, they have chosen specific animals native to the Pacific Northwest as subject matter. They have also synchronized the size of their work to create an interesting play between their works when hung side by side. It is an exciting and surprising confluence of color, ideas and expression.
