Training for a good home

NEWPORT — Blood, sweat and tears.

Ask professional horse trainer Jasmine Cyphert, and that’s what it takes to train a wild mustang in 100 days.

“They have to be able to do everything domestic horses spend years learning how to do,” Cyphert said. “At the end of 100 days, we compete in the Wild BLM Mustang Training Challenge and the horses are sold to the highest bidder.”
