Wind not of the typical Oregon coast weather variety, but of the musical kind comes to the stage on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 3 p.m. when the Borealis Wind Quintet plays the fourth concert in the 23rd season of Neskowin Chamber Music.
Formed in 1976 at the Julliard School of Music, the Borealis has performed at home and abroad in the years since, with, in the words of many critics, great artistic expression, musical integrity, and technical virtuosity. Their selections range from classical to modern to commissioned works and even opera scores.
