NEWPORT — For two families, affordable housing in Newport is a reality.

Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County celebrated a groundbreaking for its first build in Newport on Monday, Feb. 13.

The duplex, with two bedrooms and a half bath on each side, will be built on city-donated land at Southwest Pine and 10th streets in the coming months.
